Of monsters and bad writers

Finally remembered that Lance had given me "Frankenstein" by Mary Shelley to read. I started on it, but her writing style was very annoying. To me, it felt like she was going "LAM! LAM! I use difficult words! I make my sentences as long and complicated as possible! I am so smart! I am so smart! S-M-R-T! Uh, I mean S-M-A-R-T!" the whole time. So I kind of just gave up and read the CliffsNotes instead. I just hope Lance won't ask me any questions. Hey, I can go back to reading Diana Gabaldon now!

And that was pretty much all I did today. TTFN!

Love,
Basket Case

I've never read 'Frankenstein' so I can't comment. But I love the Homer quote - it's one of my favourites ;D *Repeats it* "I am so smart, I am so smart! S M R T. I mean S M A R T!" ;D
