Yay for internet connections! I finally got to talk to Star again today, which I really loved. *Huggles Star*

I'd planned to go to Libby's in the afternoon, but she was feeling tired, and asked me to wait until after dinner.

I went over to my mom's place for dinner, which is, like, a big step forward for me, since I spent the last few years absolutely hating her. I'm still not terribly fond of her, but hey, progress!

I wanted to go to Libby immediately afterwards, but then I remembered I'd left my camera on the kitchen counter, so I had to go back home. I decided to leave my scooter parked on top of the very steep driveway, so I wouldn't have to negotiate the muddy slope twice. Yeah, well, turns out my shoes are quite slippery as well.

Then, as I opened the door, the curtain rod above it decided to go on a suicide mission, and leaped onto my head. *sigh*

Then, I took a wrong turn somewhere, panicked, and ended up making a 15 minute detour. I was pretty freaked out by the time I got to Libby's.

I proceeded to have a complete breakdown when I discovered that Salem and Gilly were also invited for the sleepover. I'd thought it would just be me and Libby.

I started hyperventilating, shivering, and generally not feeling very well, so I decided not to spend the night there after all. I immediately felt better after that. I hope Libby's not mad at me, though. *sigh*

Oh, and I only took a 10 minute detour on the way home, which is slightly better, I suppose.

So sorry you had a bad time before getting to Libby's and when you arived. :( I'm glad you calmed down quickly though. I'm sure Libby will understand and not be mad at you. :)
