Of goodbyes and broken printers

Like any other day, we began with the start of the day meeting. Nothing really interesting happened.

Then everyone went to the Religion group, which I skipped because, well, I don't really care. I know what I believe in and I don't need anyone else to tell me otherwise.

So I went to ergotherapy. I wanted to print out a picture to base a new drawing on, but the printer didn't work, so I had to get Alex to come help. (Alex works at the department.) He couldn't fix it, but the printer decided to start cooperating anyway. I finished my drawing, but I couldn't take it home with me because it's too big to carry with me on my scooter.

After that, I went to my little punky/gothy store alone, because Geralda wasn't feeling too well and didn't feel like coming with me.

Then, we had expressive therapy, which consisted of us having to copy a drawing, make a drawing to go with a story and draw a comic. It was sort of fun. Geralda didn't join us.

When we were done, Geralda anounced she was leaving therapy. She was really upset because she can't hear what we're saying half the time, and because they won't give her a private room. Right now, she has to move her bed to a meeting room every night because she snores too loudly. Anyway, sadness.

We couldn't really stay to talk about it very long, because we had to go to body-orientated therapy, where we did a few exercises on leading and following. I couldn't really concentrate because I was upset by Geralda leaving.

We were all a bit surprised when we saw Geralda was attending the end of the day meeting. She announced that she'd had a conversation with one of the nurses, and that she'd decided to stay after all. I was really relieved. Much hugging ensued.

And that was my day. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to watch LOST.
