Angels and naked mole rats

My apologies for the non-post yesterday. I was really planning to post a real update, but sadly I was floored by The Cold From Hell. Which is still upon me and making me quite woozy, so I might make even less sense than usual.

I spent the better part of yesterday sneezing and coughing and generally feeling miserable. Though the fact that mrmonkeybottoms liked my Pants Of Awesomeness made me feel slightly better.

This morning I had just gotten dressed when the electrician came knocking to announce that he was going to shut off the electricity, again. I just wish he would quit showing up when I'm home alone. Dude, I do not want to deal with people I don't know when I'm head-achy and sneezing and looking like a naked mole rat with some kind of genetic deformity. Okay, I don't want to deal with people I don't know when I'm not head-achy and sneezing and looking like a naked mole rat with some kind of genetic deformity, but that's beside the point. *Sigh* Luckily my dad arrived soon after that.

Once the electricity went back up, I logged onto MySpace only to find that people are feverishly posting and reposting bulletins with the "Angels In The Alley"-glurge. GRRRRRRRRRRR. I replied to poster on each one with the link to the Snopes page. That glurge is just so insulting! "Oh you got raped? Well, I guess you didn't pray hard enough!". I'm betting these people aren't even reading what they post. "Ooh! It says if I don't repost that means I don't believe in God!!!11!!!!1!!! I'd better do it then! LOLZ!!!!111!!1!!!" Ack. I got a reply from someone saying "Ooh, that's scary!" Buh? Did you even read the link?

That's all for now, folks.

Love,
Basket Case
